EOPPEP invests in the Quality of Vocational Education and Training.
The National Organization for Certification of Skills and Career Guidance (EOPPEP) offers everyone, be they employed or unemployed, the opportunity to certify their qualifications by improving their employment prospects. Furthermore, EOPPEP invests in quality, effective and reliable lifelong learning services in Greece, complemented by services and tools for lifelong career and mobility development for work and learning without borders.
In particular, EOPPEP aims at ensuring and upgrading quality in delivering non-formal education with certified private education and training providers. These institutions implement non-formal education programs taught by certified adult educators based on both certified professional outcomes and learning outcomes so that the citizen through a non-formal and / or informal learning path acquires certified knowledge, skills and competencies.
EOPPEP is supervised by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs and is based in Athens. It has been defined as the national structure of European tools and networks in terms of transparency of qualifications, quality assurance, mobility and career enhancement: EQAVET, EQF-NCP, EUROPASS, EUROGUIDANCE, ECVET, REFERNET.
