The annual IVET graduates National Certification Exams process has been concluded for 9.948 candidates. The process of the exams took off in November 2021. The Certification process has been implemented by the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) in a period of six consecutive weekends, in the whole continent. IVET gradates of 170 specialties enrolled in the exams.

Ms. Georgia Papaefthimiou, President of the Board of EOPPEP, has stated that “Another laborious task has been accomplished. Our obligation was to succeed in the implementation of Certification of qualifications of IVET graduates, and so we did, considering the  difficult situation due to covid restrictions we had to take into account in the design of the process, so that no one would be excluded and on the other hand safeguard IVET Institutions’ function. I wish all our IVET graduates to succeed and I also wish all the best to our Organisation staff. We are going forth towards the accomplishment of our next goals, assigned by the State, to further upgrade the role of VET in the labour market  and in our society and also of the qualifications acquired by our graduates”.

Ms. Ioanna Lytrivi, EOPPEP CEO and President of the Central Examinations Committee, has underlined the enhanced prospectives of successful candidates, stating that: “Concluding another Certification process, nearly 10.000 IVET graduates claim quality specialised job posts. Hence, according to the provisions of the new VET framework law, they have the opportunity to continue further studies in tertiary level”.

Finally, Ms. Lytrivi, wishing to underline the extensive effort of minimum human resources, has also stated, “I wish to express our gratitude to all Certification process stakeholders and to the staff of Examination Venues. Without their continuous and dedicated support we would not be able to achieve this goal. More specifically, we warmly thank the members of the scientific committees, assessors, class supervisors, principals and administrative staff of Public IVET Institutions, the Central Examinations Committee delegates and, last but not least, EOPPEP staff. Congratulations to all of you and may our candidates achieve their best!”
