«EOPPEP»

The National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) provides both employed and unemployed the opportunity to certify their qualifications and improve their employment capacity. Furthermore, EOPPEP invests in quality, effective and reliable lifelong learning services in Greece, complemented by services and tools for lifelong career guidance and mobility for work and lifelong learning beyond boundaries.

In particular, EOPPEP aims at ensuring and upgrading the quality of formal (private secondary level education) and non-formal (Kentra Dia Viou Mathisis- KDVM) accredited providers.  Accredited training providers implement non-formal study programs delivered by certified adult trainers, based on certified occupational profiles and specific learning outcomes, so that each citizen acquires certified knowledge, skills and competences, via non-formal and / or informal learning paths.

EOPPEP is supervised by the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and sports and is located in Athens. It is designated as the national contact point/reference point of European tools and networks in terms of transparency of qualifications, quality assurance, mobility and career enhancement: EQAVET, EQF-NCP, EUROPASS, EUROGUIDANCE, ECVET, REFERNET.
