Study Visit in Ljubljana, December 2, 3 & 4 2019
The Slovenian EQAVET National Reference Point (NRP) organized a study visit in Ljubljana on 2, 3 and 4 December 2019 concerning the graduate tracking systems. This action is part of the study visits organized by four EQAVET National Reference Points (NRPs) (Greece, Finland, Slovenia, Croatia) on issues of common interest in quality assurance in vocational education and training and in the VET Graduates tracking systems as well.
The Slovenian EQAVET National Reference Point (NRP) organized a study visit in Ljubljana on 2, 3 and 4 December 2019 concerning the graduate tracking systems. This action is part of the study visits organized by four EQAVET National Reference Points (NRPs) (Greece, Finland, Slovenia, Croatia) on issues of common interest in quality assurance in vocational education and training and in the VET Graduates tracking systems as well.
On the first day of the study visit a preparatory meeting during which was held presentations of the Slovenian education system and of the VET quality assurance system were delivered.
The second day representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport in Slovenia presented the established system for tracking employability of tertiary level graduates. Then a work visit followed to the Ljubljana School of Economics where the scholl’s quality assurance system, the collaboration with the labour markets and school’s alumni club, as well as the school’s priorities were presented. The day’s activities ended with a presentation by representatives of the School Centre Kranj about measures and projects in the process of collaboration with the labour market both at school and regional level.
In the last day the Traditional Annual Conference on quality of vocational education and training took place in the city of Bled in Slovenia. During the Conference were presented the priorities of VET on European and National level as well as the use of data with aim to improve the quality of VET schools in Finland presented by a representative of the Finnish EQAVET National Reference Point (NRP). Finally the system of quality assurance of VET schools in Netherlands, was presented.
At the second part of the Conference, a number of parallel workshops was organized, with a variety of discussion topics. In one of them Mr Antonios Glaros, Head of the National Quality System Division of EOPPEP – Responsible for the Project EQAVET NRP 2019-2021, presented the Case Study “Identification of talents and development of leadership and key competences in vet – good practice form Siemens enterprise” and coordinated the discussion in the workshop.
