"VET Graduate Tracking" Workshop with EIEAD

On Monday, July 16, 2018, a workshop was held between representatives of the organization and the National Institute of Labor and Human Resources (EIEAD) at the premises of EOPPEP in order to discuss the possibility of joining forces to conduct a study on "Vocational Education and Training (VET) Graduate Tracking". The workshop falls within the framework of EOPPEP's activities as the Hellenic Reference Point of EQAVET, the European Network for Quality Assurance in VET.

On Monday, July 16, 2018, a workshop was held between representatives of the organization and the National Institute of Labor and Human Resources (EIEAD) at the premises of EOPPEP in order to discuss the possibility of joining forces to conduct a study on "Vocational Education and Training (VET) Graduate Tracking". The workshop falls within the framework of EOPPEP's activities as the Hellenic Reference Point of EQAVET, the European Network for Quality Assurance in VET.

EOPPEP was represented by Mrs. Athanasouli Angeliki, Head of the Qualification Certification Sector, Mr. Glaros Antonios from the National Quality System Department, and Mr. Chaikalis-Petritsis Evangelos, external partner for the project "Scientific and Technical Support of EQAVET activities for 2018-2019 ". EIEAD was represented by Mr. Gavroglou Stavros, Director of Active Policies and International Networks Department, and Mrs Paidousi Chrysa, Director of Vocational Training Department.

Representatives discussed the way in which the Labor Market Diagnosis Mechanism, supervised by EIEAD, can be used to capture the needs of the labor market to develop new vocational profiles or / and to update existing ones, the goal being to reform a. the respective VET curricula but also b. the way in which VET education is carried out and then certified.

It is expected by the end of the year that the study be completed so that the results are presented to social partners, relevant stakeholders and the general public in the first quarter of 2019.
